The question of poor Peggy and her infant collection has become vexed
indeed.

Enough of that. I have a much more urgent question to put to the group.
My story is sad, and one with which many of you will I am sure readily
identify.

Over the years, the piles of beloved LPs and CDs littering my house have
grown exponentially, to the point where I can no longer safely invite
anyone in for dinner, or even a quick snack - for the last two years even
the gas man has had to execute a convoluted minuet to negotiate the Martinu
and Martin on his way to the meter.

However, matters came yesterday to a head. The moment I found myself
bidding on ebay for a CD entitled "The Humpback Whales Do The Classics",
I resolved that it simply has to stop - now!!

Short of employing my Wagner LPs as fashionable flooring ... can any of
you offer me any helpful advice on STOPPING my collection?

Christopher Webber, Blackheath, London, UK.
