Landmark Archaeological & Environmental Services, Inc. is currently seeking
Field Supervisors and Archaeological Technicians for several ongoing
archaeological projects in Indiana. Applicants for these positions must meet
the following minimum qualifications:

Field Supervisor

1)      A M.A. or M.S. in Anthropology/Archaeology or a related field.
2)      One (1) year of supervisory experience in archaeological survey,
excavation, or laboratory techniques.
3)      One (1) year of experience at the Master’s degree level in Midwestern
prehistoric or historic archaeology and archival research.
4)      The ability to complete archival research, reconnaissance, testing,
laboratory analysis, site forms, archaeological reports and other related
work as required in a timely manner.
5)      Working knowledge of computers.

Archaeological Technicians

1)      A B.A. or B.S. in Anthropology/Archaeology or a related field
2)      One (1) year of experience in archaeological survey, excavation, or
laboratory techniques.
3)      Completion of one (1) archaeological field school; or field experience
equivalent to one (1) archaeological field school; or training in
archaeological field, laboratory, or research methods under the direction of
a qualified professional archaeologist.

Landmark offers competitive pay along with per diem and lodging for
overnight projects. Although these positions are temporary, they may
eventually lead to more permanent positions with our firm. Preference will
be given to applicants located in and around Indiana, especially those
located near the cities of Lafayette, Lawrenceburg, and Sheridan, Indiana.
