Hello HISTARCHers:
I just have one tiny question and I apologize if I perpetuate this lengthy discussion, but would the proximity of a HAM or small power radio to the larger radio towers and equipment of the military base make detection rather difficult? I understand that a signal like that of the Bismarck could be traced, but then again it is a single signal in an area devoid of such radio traffic. Also, could the proximity make transmission and reception difficult, especially since when I used to own a CB radio I used to get "stepped on" by higher power transceivers. Could someone clarify this for me? Thanks.
Scott
