Two of my favorites are:

So That's What They're For! : Breastfeeding Basics  by Janet Tamaro
(Paperback - March 1998) It has an excellent section about the benefits
of breastfeeding and is written with humor and anectotes from the
author's experiences. Sometimes in the midst of breastfeeding
difficulties, humor can be a welcomed visitor.

And my most recent purchase, The Ultimate Breastfeeding Book of Answers,
by Jack Newman and Teresa Pitman. I haven't finished it yet, but it is
loaded with detailed information for every situation I could imagine. I
expect it will be a great resource for my families.
