The breastfeeding mother of a six month old has asked me about the safety of
receiving intravenous chelation therapy. Would the mobilized heavy metals
find their way into the breastmilk? Would the loss of calcium with this
therapy be a risk for her or for her infant?

Is anyone aware of any study into these questions? A review of the Lactnet
archives over the last three years revealed no matches.

Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.
