Perhaps someone has posted this already, but why pay for metric, or any other
kind of,  scales in this day and age? It's easy enough to make your own using
the most basic drawing program or, if you prefer, any CAD application.
Printers take all kinds of paper these days too -- thick, thin, coated (i.e.,
waterproof). It doesn't take more than a few minutes to throw half a dozen
scales together.
