As I'm nomail at the moment, I'm not sure if the URL for the AAP's recent statement cautioning on juices.  It appeared in Pediatrics 2001 (May);107(5):1210-13.  The URL is:

     This is a useful document to have on hand to show colleagues or families who still believe in pushing juices for infants under 6 months, or to give a client to show a health care provider who is pressuring her to give juices inappropriately.  It received good press coverage here in Brisbane.
