It is certainly simpler to breastfeed with the baby facing the breast full
on, which for most of us puts the baby in our visual field as well.
Heterosexual genital intercourse can in fact occur in a great variety of
positions and not everyone practices the face-to-face position all the time.
There is a whole body of feminist literature out there about female anatomy
and sex practices which I will not go into here.  Suffice it to say that
face-to-face mating is as culturally determined as the wearing of clothes,
eating at tables or defecating sitting on a toilet.
Now, can we get back to BREASTFEEDING?  Pretty please?
