Suggest that the mom who is pumping and not letting down to try stretching both nipples for about a minute before putting the pump to breast. It is the stretching of the nipple that causes oxytocin release. If that doesn't work, go back to Chele Marmet's hand expression technique. She suggests that the mom massages, leans forward from the waist & shakes, & something else that escapes me right now, before attempting to express. Of course setting up a routine and having a picture and piece of clothing of her baby always helps. Being comfortable in her environment (secure, right temperature, etc.) is also conducive to letting down.
