While it's of course only a segment of a much larger work, the portion of
the last movement to Beethoven's Ninth Symphony accompanying the text:

"Sucht ihn ueberm Sternenzelt.
  Ueber Stenen muss er wohnen."

evokes for me the star-studded celestial canopy.
