According to their site the music directors have been as follows:

1935 - Wilfred Pelletier
1940 - Desire Defauw
1957 - Igor Markevitch
1961 - Zubin Mehta
1967 - Franz-Paul Decker
1975 - Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos
1977 - Charles Dutoit
