It's only fairly recently that I discovered www.andante.com and the other
day, finding that I hadn't bookmarked it, typed in the URL but for some
reason substituted adagio for andante, and was rather nonplussed to find
myself at a site for account management. In the interests of information
whose value is at best marginal, I have further investigated these tempo
.coms:

Allegro: consultants for HP products
Largo: belongs to a town of that name in Florida
Presto: seems dedicated to computer games
Scherzo: is being renovated and seems to belong to someone called Susan.

Who knows what other treasures await? If anyone wants to suggest I should
get out more, you're probably right!

There's an interesting article about andante.com in the New York Times.
http://www.nytimes.com/2001/08/28/arts/music should get you there.
