In the United States, the donor requirements vary from area to area. In the
Penn-Jersey area, a woman could donate 6 months postpartum, and there were
no restrictions if breastfeeding. Special circumstances (directed and
autologous donation) were evaluated on a case by case basis with ARC
physicians and personal physicians.

A new mom asked me how long after giving birth can she donate blood. She is
bf exclusively.
Couldn't find anything in my literature.
She spoke to someone who said that women after birth and throughout their bf
career cannot donate.
and that their hemoglobin must be 12. Just wanted to verify.
thanks.
Please reply to my e-mail as I am way behind on my digests.
