I'm in the unfortunate position of knowing how much ABM costs, since my milk
supply has crashed and I'm feeding ABM using a supplementer. I pay $22 for
a 3 lb can of Enfamil at COSTCO that makes up 352 oz. (At a regular grocery
store, it's $20 for a 2 lb can). My little baby takes about 24 oz a day, so
2 cans is enough for a month. Figure in some waste and you're looking at
$50/month. An older baby might take twice that much? Ready-to-go formula
might cost more. There are generic brands that cost less. $150/month seems
steep--I suppose you could pay that much, but you needn't. And I hope I
won't have to forever. BTW, I live in the NW.
