I am looking for some information for a mother who is currently
breastfeeding her 2 year old child. She has given me permission to pose the
question on Lactnet. Can a woman be forced by the child's father, through
the legal system, to wean her child when she feels that the child is not
ready to wean?   Is there any legal precedent in Canada?
I would appreciate any references to articles, or comments on directions to
follow, etc, that might help her.
