Top marks.  I have the disc in question in hand at the moment.  To quote
the liner notes, "The Fifth Symphony [of Peter Mennin (1923-83)] was
commissioned by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and first performed in
Dallas on April 2, 1950." Great work.
