    Responses to my question, such as this from Bill Adams, concerning 20th
century material culture resources continue to be posted.

    My thanks to Bill; the links he provides address numerous artifact
categories beyond my original question.  Excellent resource.  For any who
have faced the problem of deep excavation safety, there is a nice piece on
that topic in the linked material.
