I presume these releases are played by Ciccolini; I believe only one LP
was ever released in the States.  They couldn't be played better and are
some delightful stuff, full of the sun of the south of France.  His work
is more akin to the lighter works of Albeniz and Chabrier, not far from
Poulenc either.  I cherish a recital by Casadesus of some of the same
material.  You should run and get a copy before it disappears (and get me
a copy too).  de Severac was a master of small forms worth remembering.
