Hi

Occasionally a swarm or colony of bees will build comb between foundation
sheets rather than on them. particularly if the foundation is old or
contaminated.

Do not worry about it, just cut your extra bit off and reposition the comb
so that the cut face is next to a reasonably flat drawn out one.

If you leave it, you can bet the queen will hide there next time you want to
catch her.
