There's Friedrich Nietzsche, E.T.A.  Hoffmann, and I believe Frederico
Garcia Lorca wrote music for some of his poems.  At least a recording I
have of Teresa Berganza singing songs to texts by him, the composer(s)
of which is/are otherwise unidentified.
