   Under the working title "Bachiana", Reinhard Goebel and Musica Antiqua
   Koln began in September (2000) a series of CDs with repertoire from
   the extended family of Johann Sebastian Bach.

   The works recorded for the 1st release include:

   Heinrich Bach (1615-1692, a great uncle from the Arnstadt branch of the
   Bach family):
   Sonate "a cinque" in C major
   Sonate "a cinque" in F major

   "Signr. Pagh" (nobody is quite sure quite which Bach he was!):
   Sonata & Fantasia in g minor

   Johann Christoph Bach (1642 - 1703, an uncle from the Eisenach branch):
   Aria Eberliniana

   Cyriacus Wilche (died 1667, related to Anna Magdalena, Johann
   Sebastian's wife):
   "Battaglia" (1659)

   Johann Ludwig Bach (1677 - 1731, a cousin from the Meiningen branch):
   Concerto in D major
   Ouverture in G major

   Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750):
   Concerto in D major after BWV 249

   The recording was made at the Deutschland Radio Sendesaal in Cologne.
