A dark horse for the Piano Concerto No. 19 is Jeno Jando on Naxos.
He tends to lack the inwardness necessary for truly great Mozart, but
his playing has a most welcome simplicity, clarity, and directness,
without a trace of romantic mannerism (vs. Uchida, for example). He
does particularly well in the more extrovert pieces, and No. 19 is one
of his best.
