I have read that he is dismayed that the "cry it out" philosophy has become
known as "Ferberizing." I haven't read his book, so don't know exactly what
it says, but apparently he doesn't advocate letting them cry it out forever,
no matter what. I can't recall where I read it, but it was probably in one of
the "throwaway" baby magazines that comes to my house -- BabyTalk, American
Baby, something like that.
