I would be very suspicious of any number that came out. The only women who
*cannot* breastfeed are those whose babies absolutely won't latch on, and
they can at least provide their milk. Maybe your question is what % of
women cannot produce enough milk to breastfeed exclusively? That we won't
know until every woman and baby pair in every hospital get off to an *ideal*
start and get good continuing support. How many of those are around? Even
if someone comes up with a percentage, how was the data collected?
Information from pediatrician or family doctor offices? Wouldn't trust
that, personally.
