I use smoke to get the bees in the hives and place screen wire over the
entrance as  i move my bees in the eve or nighttime. it helps keep them
cooler and they get a chance to calm down  before letting them out the next
morning. also i am sure a good water source is nearby. this is just the way i
do it. it may not be right but it works for me. JIM(kyhoneyman)
