I am working with a woman who is adopting a baby within the week. She
began pumping 2 months ago, using More Milk at first, then Domperidone.
Within a week of beginning More Milk and pumping she was getting 1/4
teaspoon of milk each pumping.
She is the one that I wrote about who asked about the foster mother using
the supplementer and feeding at the breast. [Thank you, all of you, who
gave such inspiring replies.] She now has 6 4-ounce bottles of her milk in
her freezer. She said that it takes 6 pumpings to get 2 ounces. She is now
freezing 2 ounces in the bottles.
If she can do that well with just a pump and a dream, just think how well
she will do with a baby snuggled at her breast and all of those hormones
racing through her body.
She has been a wonderful woman to work with--and Dad is a champ too.
What a lucky baby!
