POSITIONS AVAILABLE:  ARCHAEOLOGIST

Gray & Pape, Inc., has a position open for 1-2 archaeologists in their Cincinnati, Ohio, office.  An M.A. in Anthropology, History or related field is preferred; however, candidates who have finished their advance degree course work and are preparing their theses will be considered.  Experience in Section 106 compliance projects in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and/or Appalachian Plateau is required.  This person must be able to demonstrate an ability to execute work plans within schedule and budget constraints.  This person must have sufficient knowledge of archaeological, architectural and cultural landscape resources to be able to evaluate them at the Phase I level and to be able to supply supporting data for Phase II evaluations.

Communication skills and an ability to effectively supervise people are a must.  The ability to write clear and concise technical descriptions is essential and basic computer skills (i.e., word processing and  database and/or spreadsheet programs) are necessary.
