Hi!

The email you received called "Suspend", as noted by Stephanie
Stoermer, does contain a virus. (Or, if you want to be technical, a
Worm in this case). It is known as "Kak" and will affect anyone
opening the email titled "Suspend", (Or any other email sent by a
person with an infected system) in Outlook Express on a computer
running Windows.

If you have opened that email in Outlook Express, the virus won't
start doing real damage until after Windows is restarted. So you
still have time to do something. :) And it doesn't do that much
damage anyway, so although you should get rid of it, your computer
and data will be safe. It is a problem, but it isn't that bad -
however it will attach itself to any email you send after you have
been infected, so if you have it then I suggest that you stop sending
email until it is removed.

Anyway, further information about the virus can be found at:

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/wscript.kakworm.b.html

Also, Microsoft has information at:

http://www.microsoft.com/Security/Bulletins/ms99-032.asp

and a patch for Outlook Express (which prevents it from running
automatically) at:

http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/IE/tools/scrpteye.asp

Regards,

Adam.
