Slight correction.  While the movie is a masterpiece, and Mann's story
is a masterpiece, and the music of Mahler used in the soundtrack is a
masterpiece, the story HAD NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THE LIFE OF
MAHLER, AND I'm SHOUTING BECAUSE IT DISTURBS ME that people keep making
that assumption.
