I appreciate your dislike of this "style" but I am one of many many people
in our part of the country who loves much of this music. Just as in any
other musical form there is a lot of bad. But there is a lot of great
atonal music. I have a very large collection.

I also can't wait for more 20th century music, American music, to be
published. But I have my negatives too. I cannot abide most avant garde
music that merges into "New Age".

I also love Bach, early music, and most other classical music, I always
wonder about people who don't like atonal, 20th century or the most
"modern" music. Did they not get a proper introduction? Did they not spend
enough time to learn and appreciate the music? Or do we all have gaps in
what we can stand. I don't like Tchaikovsky. Can't stand Franck.

It seems like all classical music buffs can list music they detest. Too
bad for them that the most heavily weighted music on the list is Atonal or
very modern.
