Another thought....

We all know how literally some people take instructions. I can see a new
mother giving a bottle instead of breastfeeding because, for some reason,
she wasn't able to pee at the three hour mark...

You may think I am exaggerating, but I assure you that I am quite
serious.

I have a friend who used to work in a large department store in the home
decorating department. One day he came home laughing like crazy.
Apparently, a customer came in to complain that *This can of paint does
not work. The paint won't spread.* My friend and the customer went over
the instructons written on the label, until theycame to the words, *Hold
the can under the tap for 5 seconds and stir the paint.*
*Did you do that Sir?* he asked.
Oh yes, the customer assured him that he had followed the instructions to
the letter.
Suddenly, the penny dropped. My friend asked:
*Did you OPEN the tap to let the water drip into the can of paint?*
The customer turned red in the face - he hadn't thought of doing that!

Nuff said!
