At a recent meeting, 2 separate moms reported that their babies
developed rashes when mom had her period. One was suspecting a link
but had only had a couple periods so far so wasn't positive. The
other said it has been consistent for her. In fact, she can tell
when she will get her period because the rash shows up a day ahead.
The rashes don't seem to bother baby and they go away once the
period is over.
Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Does it relate to the
hormones in mom's system? I realize this isn't a real problem, just
a curiosity. And I thought I had heard it all over the last 35
years!
