i repeat, perhaps this is a GOOD reason why IBCLCs should not be nurses, if
their organizations seem to believe that a nursing license is "higher" than
IBCLC. in colorado, licensed midwives are required to surrender their nurses
licenses in order to become licensed midwives. perhaps they are aware of the
difficulties of serving two masters.
