The researchers listed in the study below used a breastfeeding attitude scale
to study a low income, tri-ethnic population of mothers in Texas. I was able
to contact Rassin a few years ago to get permission to use this tool on a
predominantly middle class population in N.J. He was very helpful and sent me
copies of the tool with updated validity and reliability information. I found
the tool to be useful but my personal bias is that Qualitative methodology
helps to get a deeper picture of how women really feel about breastfeeding.
