Rob,

California is in a heat wave ( 70 to 80) right now and it only gets down to
55 at night. But, there will be evening fogs on the coast and it will get wet
and uncomfortable at night out on the deck.

For the conference, just wear casual clothes. Deck shoes, slacks, short or
long sleeve shirt. Even us Californians wear tie and coat for presentations,
but then don our usual Hawaiian shirts for the parties.

I once attended a presentation wearing a tie on my Hawaiian shirt and sport
coat to sit at a covered table and participate in a government presentation.
What they did not see was my sandals and Bermuda shorts.
