Well, it's difficult to say ; in my case, I mentioned sentimental reasons
(excuse the oxymoron).  However, "Tibi omnes angeli" is a real masterwork
of instrumental color, it's a single delightful melody, reorchestrated
several times (and in which way!) before its climax.  The first number ("Te
deum laudamus") may sounds a little strange to ears accustomed to the "Mad
Max" Berlioz:  it shows a severe and even "classical" use of counterpoint
and form.  I like its solemnity.  "Dignare domine" is one of the sweetest
choral pieces that I know:  it sounds like a hundred nuns singing a cradle
song.
