Thus far everyone has bragged about this piece. I recently heard Claus
Peter Flor and the Dallas Symphony (which has one of the finest symphony
choruses I have ever heard) perform this work and my impression was that
they gave an excellent performance of a dreadfully dull work. I kept
wishing that they were singing the Bruckner. Why do you guys like the
piece? I'm curious as to what you find attractive about it. (Seriously,
I could change my mind if convinced!)
