The violon version is among the best from my point of view.  I also
like the Gerard Lesne, Il seminario musicale version.  Others versions had
good reviews, Abaddo with LSO but I prefer the more historical inspired
versions.  By the way, Les Violons du Roy are well and living in Quebec
city, Canada, where this e-mail come from...They plays with modern
instrument but with <archets baroques> --I speak french, giving more
vivid sound...  Bye
