I'm pleased to announce the availability of ClassiCat for Windows version
2! ClassiCat is a cataloging program designed specifically for classical
music collections. Version 2 is a major upgrade from the previously
acclaimed program.
Some of version 2's new features include:
* Addition of custom database fields: you can now add an unlimited number
of your own custom database fields to composers, compositions, artists,
and recordings
* Enhanced reporting with print preview and query-like filters
* More cross reference views, which answer questions like "show all
piano concerto recordings by artist" or "list all of Bach's compositions
by their key of composition"; there are now 45 views in all
* Ability to "clone" an artist, composer, composition, or recording to use
as a "template" for a new entry
* Extensive user interface updates
* Improved Help system
A longer list of new features, as well as information on old features, is
available at TDWARE's web site.
Registered users can still import composer/composition data from a database
file that has been compiled from the contributions of ClassiCat users. This
file currently contains over 17,000 compositions. The program files and music
database are now available on CD-ROM in addition to being available for
downloading from TDWARE's web site. You can download ClassiCat and use it
without charge for a 30-day evaluation period.
For downloading, order information, and other queries please visit:

...or send me a private email. Come see why the latest American Record Guide
calls ClassiCat "excellent software for cataloging your recorded music
collection".
