Does anyone have any suggestions for this mom? Also have you heard of this
Easy Detect product she mentions? Obviously it tests for occult blood because
mom didn't see any blood in the stools.

<< My daughter is 9 weeks. She has breastfed well from the beginning and
also gained well, always in the 75th percentile. At 3 weeks, we started
noticing blood in her stool. The pediatrician did stool samples, blood
tests, intestinal x-rays. All came back with no problems indicated. At 6
weeks, I took dairy products out of my diet. As of my daughter's two month
check-up, she was still having the blood in her stools, and also increased
fussiness, always 1/2 to 1 1/2 hours after feeding. The doctor suggested
that I put her on Enfamil Nutrimigen for a few days to see if she had a
problem with my breastmilk. She did wonderfully, having less fussiness,
average amount of stools (instead of every diaper), and no blood. She also
slept through the night for the first time. I notified the doctor of this
and he suggested that I again try to breastfeed. I started last night and
already this afternoon she had blood back in her stool (I confirmed this with
an over-the-counter test product for blood in stool "Easy-Detect"). I have
been told that breastmilk allergy is extremely rare but possible. Is this
what is wrong with my daughter? What are the symptoms of this affliction?
Should I give up breastfeeding??>>
