I recently inherited a bunch of Imirie shims. I like the idea
of providing an additional entrance (especially since I use
queen excluders). But I am concerned about the violation
of bee space. Can I expect to be ripping apart burr comb
each time I open the hive up?

Have people had good experiences with their use?
