This topic reminded me of a patient I treated 4 years ago. The mother of a 9
month old burned herself on the hot water or hot element of a bottle warmer
that was plugged into the lighter in a car. She had second degree burns to
the top of her thigh with some scarring. Her second baby breastfed over 2
years.
