Their reply to Keith might have been kindly, but they failed to inform him
that the Bamert disc contains 5 symphonies of Michael Haydn, not Franz
Joseph Haydn.

I have this Bamert disc on Chandos which is part of the Chandos
"Contemporaries of Mozart" series which has included discs devoted to the
symphonies of Krommer, Vanhal, Stamitz, Gossec, Pleyel, Pichl, and one or
two others I don't recall.  It's a fine series which is conducted very
well.

I feel for Keith on this one.  I had recently told the group of my "goof"
concerning the Hummels (one is 18th century, the other contemporary).  It
can happen to the best of us.
