No doubt you will get millions of replies telling you the same: the curved
bow is just that -- a bow that is curved (as in bow and arrow) instead of
the modern straight bow. It makes it easier to play Bach's music which has
a lot of double stopping etc. With the Bach anniversary this year, will
you join my campaign to persuade classical disc jockeys to pronounce the
name of the greatest-ever composer correctly, i.e with a short "a" and a
"ch" as in the Scottish "loch"?
