ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions. ***************************************************************************** Dear Dustin, A consortium of science centers and science museums under the leadership of the New York Hall of Science and with assistance from the Institute for Learning Innovation conducted such a survey with 337 adult visitors in preparation of a major grant to explore how museums can influence children's understanding of pre-evolutionary concepts such as variation, inheritance, selection or adaptation. We contrasted our findings with those of a previous national survey. The results were summarized in ASTC Dimension: Storksdieck, M. & Stein, J. (2006). What they bring with them: Museum visitors' perspectives on Evolution. ASTC Dimensions 3/4: 8-9. Thanks in advanace for any help you may be able to offer!
