        Tom Krakauer did some work on this a number of years ago
before he retired from the N. Carolina Museum of Life and Science,
in Durham.  He developed a computer model that took many of the
demographic factors and made predictions of attendance.  He verified
it against a number of museums around the country.  ASTC use to
sell the model, but I'm not sure if they still do or not...
