Dear Colleagues,

 

Pacific Science Center is a partner on a National Science Foundation
funded project called Acceso a la Ciencia.  The project is a partnership
between our museum and community groups and we work together to bring
informal science activities to the Latino public in eastern Washington
state. We are in the process of applying for a dissemination grant and
are conducting some front-end evaluation to gauge interest and give us a
clearer understanding of how to best disseminate our model.  This grant
will include a conference focused on creating partnerships between
museums and community organizations to reach Latino communities and the
opportunity for sites to receive program materials for science shows,
workshops, or family science events.  Your input is very valuable to us
and any information you provide will help us learn more about your
organization as a possible candidate for becoming a dissemination site.
