We received a 10% discount three years ago after being told the same
thing and then pushing it a bit further. Try contacting the company
directly not through sales. We purchased just the fundamentals. I have
a friend who is a lighting designer and he really likes the lighting
package. I'm afraid I do not have a contact name still in my files. The
next hurdle for me is getting two more seats and Renderworks. But it's
not like I have time for anything but the most basic design and
production drawings anyway.

My favorite old draftsman's adage: "Never draw more in the morning than
you can erase in the afternoon." (credit: ca 1984, M Joyce, Brooklyn)

If anyone from a museum/science center has had luck getting an
educational deal from Nemetschek, please let me know. I was explicitly
told by one of their sales reps that we don't qualify.

But thank you for all of the recommendations for renderers. If anyone
thinks of more please send them on. Thank you.

Regards,

Daniel
