Ed, I would also be interested, especially the ones using solar cells.
I'm putting together an Alternative Energy Lab for next year, an hour
long hands-on program.  I believe we set it for grades 4-8 (or possibly
5-8).  I would love to have some open-ended inventive activity after
they learn the basics.

I've been busy here working on exhibits, text, murals, and electronic
media for our new space wing opening June 28.

We have developed about 50 inventing activiities, many that can be done
within an hour. Some new ones use solar cells. We can talk off list
about specifics.
