ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The best policies I have seen do two things: Increase the employee's
visibility to the visitor (eg. shirt) and allow the most latitude for
the individual employee, eg. denim.

I think the specifics should reflect the institutions culture. It
would be pretty funny, for example, to try and apply business attire
to a very small, informal place.....

The only thing I can say with certainty is that whatever policy, new
or old, it will not make everyone happy.
